Research Applications and Methods Certificate

The Certificate in Research Applications and Methods (CRAM) equips undergraduate students in Biology, Chemistry, Exercise Science, Psychology, and Sociology with the hands-on research experience and professional skills needed for success in scientific research and related fields. Through coursework, internships, and a capstone research project, students learn to design experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences.

Coursework includes Scientific Communication, Advanced Research Methods, and data analysis within the student’s major discipline. Students learn to write and present scientific reports, create data visualizations, and explore grant writing fundamentals.

Upon completion of the certificate, students are prepared to pursue careers involving:
