Georgia Southwestern State University's College of Nursing and Health Sciences offers the Guaranteed Acceptance Program (GAP), an exclusive opportunity for a select group of high-achieving high school students admitted to GSW who are interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
GAP provides qualified students with a guaranteed seat in the BSN program, provided they meet all required academic benchmarks while enrolled. GAP students are considered an important part of the pre-nursing program and as such are invited to join in activities held by GSWANS (GSW Association of Nursing Students). GSWANS is a great way to get to know your fellow students and faculty. The College also hosts a special meet and greet reception to help GAP students transition smoothly into nursing at GSW.
Admission to GSW's BSN program is extremely competitive, and GAP offers a distinct advantage. Students who begin their academic journey at GSW have the opportunity to apply for this program, with selection based on high school GPA, SAT/ACT scores, and two references. GAP participants receive priority consideration over other applicants.
Priority application deadlines are March 1 and April 1. Apply early to improve your chances are being part of this limited program!
