Sirocco Magazine

Sirocco is a student created literary and fine arts magazine published in April of each year. This project allows Georgia Southwestern students the opportunity to submit works that demonstrate skill in the field of creative writing, poetry, short stories, painting, photography, digital arts, and more. Submissions must not have been previously published.They are welcome at any time, but cannot be read and acted upon except during January and February. All submissions must be typed and must follow the magazine's format. Basic biographical information about the submitter must be included. Authors and artists should have some present or past affiliation with Georgia Southwestern. No work will be returned unless accompanied by a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

A senior unit of the University System of Georgia, GSW is an affirmative action/equal opportunity institution. The magazine is graciously funded by the Student Government and the GSW Foundation. Opinions expressed in the magazine are neither those of the editors nor those of the University.

Cover Art Contest
Any art submitted to the magazine for publication will automatically be entered in the Cover Contest. The winner will be featured on the cover of the Sirocco Magazine and receive a cash prize.
