Multimedia Experience

Georgia Southwestern students have the opportunity to gain real-deal experience in communications and media through paid and class-credit internships. GSW also offers students a variety of internships across campus in multimedia areas such as graphic design, video production and creation, social media, and photography.

Campus Events

Georgia Southwestern students give frequent music performances during the year that range from musical theatre productions, madrigal dinners, cabaret, choirs, concert and jazz bands. The Jackson Performance Hall also hosts the Chamber Concert series showcasing musical talent from across the nation for students, faculty, staff, and community members to attend.

Student interns also assist with the production and coordination of our annual TEDxGeorgiaSouthwesternU event where participants engage with an audience on a variety of topics based on the annual theme.
This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.

All the staff members in the Communication and Emerging Media program are excellent. Dr. Jones, Dr. Carter, and Mr. Pat make it their priority to teach the course material through real-world experiences that prepares us for our careers.
