Cohort-Based
Intimate Setting
Career Advancement

By engaging practicing professionals, this cohort-based program will allow individuals in a variety of fields to connect in person with industry leaders in the region and build long-term relationships and professional networking systems.

Small, cohort-based class sizes will allow students to work side-by-side with industry professionals in an intimate and welcoming academic setting. Georgia Southwestern maintains a 17:1 student-to-faculty ratio providing for a private school feel and support without the burden of increased costs. Students can become and remain immersed in a different, small-town setting without the distraction and traffic of a metropolitan area.

Graduates will gain invaluable management knowledge intended to complement their current skillsets helping propel their careers. An Executive MBA provides graduates with opportunities for professional networking, increased salary potential, available job opportunities, and accelerating or changing career paths.

Increased management and entrepreneurship expertise provides students with the motivation to increase their societal impact within their organizations and communities. Graduates with graduate level management education report an increased percentage of achieving professional, personal, and financial goals by providing increased employability and leadership preparation. Many organizations seeking to move/advance leaders through the company are also willing to sponsor employees for EMBA programs.

Why Choose Georgia Southwestern?

The proof is in the numbers. Georgia Southwestern's one-year Executive MBA program requires the least amount of residencies at over half the cost of other institutions. Saving valuable time and money makes GSW one of the most affordable EMBA programs and a top-notch investment compared to similar programs.

Why Georgia Southwestern's EMBA program?

There are only four other EMBA programs within the USG – all located in North Georgia. Their two-year programs are more than twice the cost compared to GSW’s one-year program making it half the cost and taking half the time of other comparable programs in Georgia (see comparison chart for reference). The new EMBA will meet the needs of Southwest Georgia business leaders by offering an aggressive curriculum at a more affordable cost and in a format suited for executives with demanding schedules.

Students will gain the analytical tools as well as the knowledge to make informed decisions in their management positions.
