Need to Check Your Grades?

Grades can be viewed by completing the following steps:

  • Log in to your RAIN account
  • Click "Student Services" and then "Financial Aid"
  • Click "Student Records"
  • View "GSW Unofficial Academic Transcript"

Current Courses

Your current term courses and grades will be found in the Courses in Progress area of the transcript until we have run the end of term processes. After these processes are completed, you can find your courses, grades, and GPA information for the current term at the bottom of your transcript in the Institution Credit area of your transcript.

Advanced Credit Courses

Georgia Southwestern offers several ways to earn college credit for what you already know including:

  • CLEP (College Level Examination Program)
  • PLA (Prior Learning Assessment)
  • AP (Advanced Placement Courses)
  • IB (the International Baccalaureate Program)

Check out our details on Advanced Credit Courses to see how your credits will transfer.

Courses you complete through CLEP, AP, IB, or PLA will show on your transcript with a grade of K rather than a traditional letter grade and will not be included in GPA calculations. Credit earned through alternative means is limited to 10 credit hours in a major and 30 hours toward your degree. If you want to take a CLEP test, contact the GSW Testing Center, but be aware that any CLEP test must be taken before you attemp the class for which you wish to receive credit by alternative means.
