Choosing a program in Computer Science or Information Technology is an important step, and Georgia Southwestern’s Department of Computing offers flexible, innovative, and career-focused pathways designed to meet today’s workforce needs. Our faculty bring industry experience in cybersecurity, networking, cloud computing, software engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), information assurance, media and application development, and informatics.
GSW’s computing programs prepare students to solve real-world problems, build new technologies, and adapt to an increasingly connected global environment. With hands-on learning and opportunities for professional development at every level, our graduates enter the workforce with the skills needed for career success in IT, computer science, data science, cybersecurity, and emerging technology fields.
