Georgia Southwestern is an approved institution through the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.

Online distance education courses may require proctored examinations or other forms of student identity verification that may result in additional cost above that of tuition and fees.
None of Georgia Southwestern State University’s fully online programs lead directly to any type of license or eligibility to sit for a license examination in any state, including the state of Georgia. The BBA in Accounting may be a component of the requirements to sit for a Certified Public Accountant License exam in your state of residence. Please contact the agency that grants those licenses in your state of residence to be sure.
Online learning is great for people like me: full-time job, family, and a crazy schedule. Asynchronous learning is great because you can fit in class work around your schedule.
